PHOTOS: Athens voters head to the polls for early voting in Senate runoff election
Monday marked the first day of early voting in the upcoming Senate runoff election scheduled for January 5.
This week, Athens voters can visit the Lyndon House Arts Center or Miriam Moore Community Center Monday through Friday to vote early with a valid identification card.
Locations pause voting once each hour to clean and disinfect voting machines.
