Worth McFall, a junior economics major from Douglasville, Georgia started his food truck company, Somewhere Waffle, in the middle of the coronavirus pandemic.

Somewhere Waffle is the only student-run food truck in Athens and is McFall’s first business venture. The idea came to him after visiting his sister in California and seeing the food trucks there.

McFall decided to use his mom’s waffle recipe, which was a staple at his family’s “waffle Wednesdays” to start a food truck that sells waffles. McFall caters events, like this one photographed at the Pi Beta Phi house and often hires a friend, on this day Brian Biddiscombe, to help out for the day.
