Breaking the Shackles, Inc. hosted its third and final Coffee Crawl of its fall coffeehouse series at 1000 Faces Coffee on Thursday, Oct. 17. Zac Crook, a local musician, opened the night, followed by main act Jordy Searcy, a singer-songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee. Attendees enjoyed coffee and specialty drinks from 1000 Faces Coffee as they enjoyed the coffeehouse music. Breaking the Shackles, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that exists to mobilize students and to raise money and awareness to fight modern-day slavery in the form of human trafficking.
