Athenians gathered in Buvez for the second week of Breaking The Shackles’ Coffee Crawl in Athens, Georgia, on Oct. 11, 2019. Breaking The Shackles is an anti-human trafficking organization that aims to bring awareness to the threat of human trafficking and raises funds to aid efforts in the fight against human trafficking. Its Coffee Crawls feature local musicians and they are being held over three weeks in different coffee shops around the Athens area. Week two featured performances from Grace Garrett, Luke Vaughan, Madison Kestle, Elijah Johnston and Ethan Mowery. Week three of Coffee Crawl will be on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2019, at 1000 Faces Coffee in downtown Athens. Tickets are sold out, but organizers expect to make more tickets available in the next week.
