The 2019 SEC Football Media Days took place in Hoover, Alabama, on July 15-18, 2019. SEC commissioner Greg Sankey welcomed the press and laid out several themes for the four day conference, one of them being the importance of mental health for the players. The event hosted all 14 SEC coaches along with several players from each team and allowed time for questions. The players answered a variety of questions ranging from the upcoming season to their favorite hobbies outside of football. Georgia head coach Kirby Smart and his players, Jake Fromm, J.R. Reed and Andrew Thomas, made their appearance on the second day.
