The Georgia Square Mall, located along the Atlanta Highway just outside the outer loop, was an interesting sight in the final weeks of August. The mall, which has fallen on hard times in recent years as some of its anchors have abandoned brick-and-mortar locations, hosted a small traveling carnival in a parking lot.

Most nights, such as this one captured by The Red & Black, saw few attendees. Social distancing was encouraged by signs placed throughout the grounds, and masks could be seen on many employees.
