Despite the uncharacteristically cold and rainy spring day, Class of 2020 graduates donned caps and gowns to take photos and videos of each other walking through the Arch now that they are officially alumni of the University of Georgia. Though the 7 p.m. graduation ceremony couldn’t happen because of the pandemic, Sanford Stadium’s scoreboard lit up with a congratulations message and graduates still found ways to celebrate on May 8. Commencement for these graduates has been rescheduled for Friday, Oct. 16.
