Sigma Delta Tau’s annual Greek Grind dance competition fundraiser filled the Classic Center with students and parents supporting their friends on Wednesday, Oct. 16, 2019. With the theme “Electrify the Night,” many sororities used black lights, neon clothing, glow in the dark face paint and light-up shoes or props to add an extra dimension of creativity to their dances. Luke Parker from the most recent season of “The Bachelorette” hosted the event, and local dance experts, UGA football players and SDT’s house mother judged the competition. At the end of the night, Alpha Omicron Pi went home in first place, and the event raised over $90,000 for Prevent Child Abuse America.
