Homeschooled kids in the Athens area had the opportunity to explore printmaking and Native American art history on Friday at the Georgia Museum of Art on UGA’s campus. The museum’s current Modern Native American Printmaker’s exhibited was accompanied by live printmaking demonstrations with local artists Abigail West and Toni Carlucci. Attendees could learn about what native lands they live on and take an at-home printmaking kit with them. The museum will host “family day” with similar activities on Saturday, Nov. 13.
