Athens residents and their children gathered at Lay Park Community Center for games, crafts and a pumpkin hunt to celebrate Halloween on Oct. 9, 2020, in Athens, Georgia.

There were games such as “skull toss” and “booooo-wling” for children to participate in, as well as several craft tables, a photo station and Halloween-themed music to dance to.

Near the end of the event, the children were separated into two groups based on age and sent to search for small plastic pumpkins and eggs filled with candy. There were around 650 hidden objects for the children to find.
