Following a deadly shooting at a mosque in Christchurch, New Zealand on Friday, March 15, 2019, the Muslim Student Association at the University of Georgia held a vigil commemorating the victims of the attack. Students gathered at Tate Plaza and lit candles together to honor the victims. MSA President Sara Atamna, Student Government Association Vice President Charlene Marsh and MSA member Abdullah Darvesh are a few of the students who spoke during the vigil.
