On midnight between Feb. 28 and March 1, the University of Georgia Graduate and Professional Scholars (GAPS) hosted a candlelight vigil featuring spoken word poetry and singing to honor black female victims of police brutality. Although the event was hosted by a graduate group, many undergraduate students were in attendance as well.
