This past week in Athens brought a range of events from Greek Life, Athens' music scene, UGA sports and more. The annual SDT Greek Grind charity dance competition raised over $90,000 for Prevent Child Abuse America on Wednesday night. On Thursday, Breaking the Shackles hosted its third and final event in its Coffee Crawl series, and Umphrey's McGee performed its first of three back-to-back-to-back shows at the Georgia Theatre. Georgia men's basketball won its exhibition game against Valdosta 93-81 on Friday, the Ice Dawgs defeated Clemson 8-3 and the UGA Homecoming Carnival took over Legion Field and parking lot. On Saturday, the UGA Homecoming football game against Kentucky came with plenty of rain and produced a Georgia win, 21-0.
