Another piece of Georgia’s Class of 2020 fell into place on Thursday night.

Mekhail Sherman, an outside linebacker from St. John’s College High School in Washington, D.C., announced his commitment to Georgia. He is the eighth recruit to join the 2020 class.

Sherman checks in at 6-foot-3, 234 pounds. The five-star recruit according to the 247Sports Composite is rated as the 11th-overall player in the country and the No. 2 outside linebacker recruit in the Class of 2020.

Sherman is also the Bulldogs’ first outside linebacker in the 2020 class. He joins four-star defenders Jalen Kimber, Nazir Stackhouse and Jamil Burroughs in the class.
