Jake Fromm, a sophomore quarterback, prepares to throw the ball during the University of Georgia vs. Louisiana State University football game on Saturday, October 13, 2018, in Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Tigers defeated the Bulldogs 36-16.

With the release of the Associated Press Top 25 poll on Sunday, Georgia and Florida's Oct. 27 matchup is now a battle of top-10 teams. No. 7 Georgia will take on No. 9 Florida in Jacksonville for a top-10 matchup between the two teams for the first time since 2008.

Both teams had a bye last week leading up to the game. Florida has one loss on the season to Kentucky, while the Bulldogs head into this game following a 36-16 loss at No. 4 LSU last weekend.

The last time the two teams met while both being in the top-10, Florida won 49-10. However, the Bulldogs defeated the Gators in the last meeting, winning 42-7 in 2017.

The game will be the site of Saturday’s “College GameDay” on ESPN as well as “SEC Nation” on SEC Network.
