Taja Cole and Donnetta Johnson are leaving the Georgia women’s basketball team.

“Taja and Donnetta have decided to leave our program,” head coach Joni Taylor said in a statement. “We wish them the best.”

Cole will be leaving the program as a graduate transfer. Cole finished first in the SEC and eighth nationally with 202 total assists, and she averaged a league-best 7.0 assists per game.

Cole sat out her sophomore year after she transferred from Louisville.

Johnson started sparingly during her freshman campaign at Georgia. She primarily played the small forward position, and she was named SEC freshman of the week after scoring five points in a win against Tennessee. She came in as a three-star prospect, according to ESPN.

Both players have entered the transfer portal.
