Last year at the University of Georgia, more than 61 cases of rape were reported to UGAPD, 15 of which were on campus, according to information collected from the daily logs and the University of Georgia’s 2016 Safe and Secure Report. The locations now portrayed on this map are the locations known to police. However, the vast majority of locations are marked as “unknown.” Dorms were the most common known locations listed Vandiver, McWhorter, Lipscomb and freshman high-rises among those reported.
