Results from Environmental Testing & Consulting, LLC showed “good air quality” and low amounts of mold in Brumby, Creswell and Russell halls, according to an email from UGA Executive Director for Media Connections Greg Trevor.

This testing was in response to a home-testing mold kit, which returned positive results for mold in a Russell Hall dorm room on Sept. 30.

Hannah Crouch, a resident of Russell Hall, conducted this test after having upper respiratory problems.

University Housing responded within one day and said they would address her and her parents' concerns.

“In my opinion they took it seriously in that they went out and got professional testing done,” Crouch said.
