The University of Georgia chapter of the Theta Chi fraternity has been placed under interim suspension for unspecified reasons, UGA Director of Student Affairs Communications and Marketing Initiatives Stan Jackson said in an email.

A post under the chapter’s Greek Rank forum suggests the suspension began as early as February.

Jackson declined to comment on the suspension because the conduct process is ongoing. Joe McGee, the Delta Beta chapter’s president, also declined to comment.

The Red & Black will provide updates regarding the suspension as they are received.

The Red & Black reached out to the fraternity’s national branch for additional information and has not received a response as of press time.
