Byron Grogan, 19, went missing at Chattahoochee Pointe Park in Forsyth County.

University of Georgia student Byron Grogan was safely located around 2 a.m. this morning when he came back to his house. 

The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office is investigating the circumstances of his disappearance, according to a Facebook post.

The Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department are searching for a 19-year-old University of Georgia student who went missing on Monday night.

According to a FCSO Facebook post, Byron Grogan was last seen running at Chattahoochee Pointe Park off of Old Atlanta Road in Forsyth County. He is described as a white male, 6 foot, 175 pounds with brown hair.

FCSO is being assisted in the search by the U.S. Park Service, Johns Creek and Gwinnett Fire Departments and the Georgia State Patrol Aviation Unit. According to WSB-TV, around 100 volunteers were assisting in the search earlier this afternoon.

Grogan was last seen wearing a yellow T-shirt, red shorts and running shoes.
